1. WHAT IS VERI*FACTU?
Veri*Factu is a system launched by the Spanish Tax Agency to fight fiscal fraud and promote digitised invoicing. It verifies electronic invoices for authenticity, integrity and traceability, automatically submitting the data to the AEAT.
It will take effect from January 1st, 2026 for companies and July 1st, 2026 for the self-employed.
Recommendation: Activate from July 29th to take advantage of the transition period and avoid last-minute problems.
2. CONFIGURATION IN REVO
When you access the back-office, a message will prompt you to configure fiscal settings. Click the Configure fiscal settings button.
Alternatively:
1. Go to the back-office of Revo XEF.
2. Navigate to Settings / FISCAL SETTINGS
3. Click the Configure fiscal settings button.
Ensure Fiscal country: Spain (Veri*Factu) is selected.
4. Fill out the data:
SELECTION
Select whether to work with Veri*Factu, not to use it or if you already use SSI.
FISCAL DATA
This info is pulled from the Business section of the back-office. Please verify it’s correct.
- Country code: 11 for Spain.
LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE
Enter the legal rep’s details. It’s important the email you use is accessible—you’ll need to respond to an email from the AEAT. Tick “I’ve reviewed and confirm my fiscal data.” Then click Submit.
SIGNATURE
You’ll receive an email to sign legal consent for Cegid REVO to manage your data. Once signed, you’ll get copies back and can continue by clicking I have signed.
ACTIVATION
Fill out any remaining fields and click Activate fiscal settings.
Done! Fiscal setup is active!
After activation, you can’t change the fiscal country and the activation prompt disappears.
3. FISCAL STATUS ON INVOICES
Sales in Revo XEF will now print tickets with the fiscal QR code. Scanning it links to the tax authority for invoice tracking.
Under Reports / INVOICES, you’ll see a Fiscal Status column.
Clicking the Fiscal Status on an invoice shows more info.
